Students at Oklahoma State have a chance at Chance, courtesy of the Arts and Sciences Freshman Student Council’s Bingo Night, beginning 7 p.m. April 20 in the Student Union Ballroom.

Women with a history of chronic extra weight may stop breastfeeding their babies sooner than other mothers, a study from Oklahoma State University finds.

The Oklahoma State University Boone Pickens School of Geology announces it will break ground on a $3 million, 6,500-square foot Core Research Facility.  Financing for the building is made possible by generous donations from alumni and corporate partnerships. 

Award winning author of fantasy and fiction Kevin Brockmeier will host a series of talks in and around Stillwater, courtesy of the OSU Creative Writers Association and the Department of English.

Several departments in the College of Arts and Sciences ranked highly when it comes to the number of degrees conferred to minority students within Oklahoma State University, as calculated by higher education news magazine “Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.”

Three seniors from the College of Arts and Sciences have been named 2017 Outstanding Seniors by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.

In conjunction with Oklahoma & Beyond: Selections from the George R. Kravis II Collection, a panel discussion is set for March 30 to explore crossovers and boundaries within the worlds of contemporary fine art, craft, and design.

While the weather in early March may not have held true to the proverb, trombonists from the OSU Department of Music certainly came in to the month like a lion, with multiple students earning hardware at recent competitions.

Undergraduate students taking biology, chemistry, or life sciences coursework at OSU have a unique opportunity courtesy of the College of Arts and Sciences to experience having research published in a peer or panel-reviewed journal.
