Dr. Stephanie N. Mullins-Sweatt, associate professor of psychology and director of clinical training at Oklahoma State University, is among a group of international psychologists and psychiatrists who have developed a new mental health model to help clinicians provide more accurate and useful diagnoses.

A unique program that gives graduate music students at Oklahoma State University the opportunity to gain professional experience by playing main stage concerts with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra (TSO) has been renewed.

The OSU Department of Music and TSO recently announced the renewal, which will also give the five string students involved (two violins, one viola, one bass, and one cello) professional training with the orchestra while they pursue their Master of Music degree at OSU.

A PhD student in Psychology took home first place amongst Arts and Sciences students competing in OSU’s annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) contest finals, held Feb. 22 at Edmon Low Library.

The OSU Department of History is bringing a three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author to Stillwater to discuss the myth of California’s Catholic missions.

Elias Castillo, author of “A Cross of Thorns,” will be on campus March 7 to present a lecture, “Shattering California’s Mission Myth,” beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the Murray Hall Parlor.

Tickets are now on sale for OSU Department of Theatre’s third Main Stage production, Donald Margulies’ “Shipwrecked!” The show runs Feb. 23-25 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 26 at 2:30 p.m. in the Vivia Locke Theatre in the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts.
