A PhD student in Psychology took home first place amongst Arts and Sciences students competing in OSU’s annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) contest finals, held Feb. 22 at Edmon Low Library.
Christina Sharkey, advised by Dr. Larry Mullins, took first with her presentation on the role of grit in coping with chronic illness. In addition to a cash prize, Sharkey will represent the College of Arts and Sciences at the university-wide 3MT Finals.
The top two colleges based on number of 3MT college-level competitors will also send their second-place winners to compete in the university-wide finals.
