Need a heartwarming script of eloquence and sophistication to wow and woo your significant other this Valentine’s Day? The wordsmiths at OSU have your back with Poems to Go: Valentine’s Day Edition.
Graduate students from the OSU College of Arts & Sciences’ Creative Writers Association (CWA) will be offering custom, unique poems for free on Feb. 13 and 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Student Union’s Blue Key Lounge.
Students will be able to select a topic, whether their significant others, their pets, or even something like tacos, and have a loving, moving script drawn up, a one-of-a-kind poem brought to life on vintage typewriters.
While the poem is free, association members encourage students to donate to the CWA’s Spring Reader of Renown Reading program, featuring fiction writer Kevin Brockmeier.
The Blue Key Lounge is located on the second floor of the Student Union, between the doors and ATMs on the northeast corner, and the Theatre.
