Jennifer Daer Shields, an Oklahoma State third-year clinical psychology Ph.D. student, was recently awarded a $60,000 Doris Duke Fellowship for the Promotion of Child Well-Being from Chapin Hall, a research and policy center, at the University of Chicago. For the third-straight year, the Oklahoma State University Trumpet Studio won a national title by taking first place in the Large Ensemble Division at the 2016 National Trumpet Competition, held in Columbus, Georgia.
