Ten CAS students selected as OSU Seniors of Significance
Ten College of Arts & Sciences students have been selected as Oklahoma State University Seniors of Significance for the 2016-2017 academic year by the OSU Alumni Association.

A diverse future - by design
One boy moved from Mexico to the United States at age 12. Another earned a college degree in South Korea before immigrating. And a third left Iran at age 13, finished his high school equivalency in the U.K., and started junior college in the U.S. at age 15. Two things tie the three of them together: taking risks and starting a Master's of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Oklahoma State University.
OSU undergraduates discover novel bacterial genomes
Undergraduate life sciences researchers investigating microbial diversity and bacterial genetics as part of their courses are contributing to work being published in international scientific journals. Their research to identify novel strains of bacteria resulted in the students co-authoring eight publications about their discoveries in the journals Genome Announcements and Genomics Data.

Borland to present on folding medieval almanacs
Oklahoma State University Professor of Art, Dr. Jennifer Borland, will present recent research into medieval folding almanacs as part of the Art History Roundtable Series at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 3, in Room 104 of the Bartlett Center. The presentation is open to the public.
