The Oklahoma State University Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program has awarded its first graduate fellowships to five doctoral students, each of whom will receive an annual stipend of $2,500 for research projects in toxicology, the study of the adverse effects of chemicals on living organisms.

Three Oklahoma State University students, Shane Morrison, Amber Anderson and Grant Williams, were honored for outstanding research presentations at the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science national conference in Los Angeles.

The College of Artsand Sciences has selected sociology major and Stillwater native, Rachel Angevine as its ‘Orange Gown Graduate’ for the fall 2014 commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014.

OSU’s American Indians Into Psychology (AIIP) program is a central reason for the department's success. The AIIP program, in its 17^th year, seeks to recruit qualified American Indian students into the field of clinical psychology.

Oklahoma State University political science students took a break from learning to do a little teaching at Sangre Elementary School in Stillwater, Okla. 

Dr. Jack C. Pashin, professor and Devon Energy Chair of Basin Research in the Boone Pickens School of Geology at Oklahoma State University, received the Geological Society of America’s highest honor at a ceremony in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Tuesday, Oct. 21.  Pashin was presented with the Gilbert H. Cady Award, which recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions to the interdisciplinary field of coal geology.
