The Oklahoma State University Department of Theatre is offering two for-credit dance courses for the Fall 2015 semester, taught by Alexandra Bergman, a 20-year veteran of the renowned Tulsa Ballet. The courses, Ballet I and Modern I, are scheduled again for the Colvin Center Dance Studios, following a successful first semester (Spring 2014).
Bergman was the principal soloist for the Tulsa Ballet from 2001-2013, when she retired from the stage. She is also on faculty with the Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education as a ballet and contemporary instructor and continues to teach master classes and summer intensives across the country.
Specifically known as Topics in Performance: Ballet I (TH 3530.002), the two-credit course will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. Topics in Performance: Modern I (TH 3530.003) is also a two-credit course, which will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.
