A large group of Oklahoma State University political science students attracted media attention for their opinions on Governor Mary Fallin’s State of the State address. Using “perception analyzer” technology, the students offered real-time analysis of the speech, giving media outlets immediate feedback on what resonated and what did not with college students.
Visiting professor of political science Brandon Lenoir first used the technology at OSU during President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address in 2014. This year the students gathered in 126 ITLE to observe and comment on the Governor’s speech.
