Dr. Andrew Fullerton, OSU Professor of Sociology, has been named to the review board for the American Sociological Review (ASR), the national scholarly publication of the American Sociological Association (ASA).
Fullerton has been with OSU since 2007, after obtaining his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Connecticut, following a B.S. in Sociology from Michigan State University, and M.A.s in both Sociology from Indiana University, and Survey Research from Connecticut. His current research focus is on macro-level explanations for cross-national differences in job insecurity.
Considered the flagship publication of the ASA, the ASR was founded in 1936 to publish original works of interest to the discipline of sociology in general, new theoretical developments, and the results of research that advance understanding of fundamental social processes. The ASA was founded in 1905, and is currently headquartered in Washington, D.C.
