Introduction
Brent Butcher was born in Edmond, Oklahoma, to Tom and Susie Butcher. Butcher and his wife, Kimberly, recently welcomed a future Oklahoma State Cowgirl, Hayley, to this world.
The Butcher family has long ties to OSU. Butcher, his twin sister, Brooke, his uncle Jim and his father all graduated from OSU. Butcher was awarded the CBYX Scholarship from the U.S. State Department where he represented and acted as an official ambassador to Germany. After his year abroad, Butcher came back to Oklahoma and majored in applied sociology.
Butcher has many accomplishments. He hosts an annual fraternity golf outing with funds administered by the OSU Foundation, providing scholarships to active OSU’s Beta Phi Delta Theta Fraternity Chapter whose members obtain a certain GPA. This unique scholarship has awarded in excess of $50,000. In addition, Butcher also received a prestigious and highly-sought-after company award, the 2016 Saputo Special Service Award, given to one employee every two years, chosen by the CEO out of the diverse field of 13,500 employees .
Butcher is currently the vice president of sales for Red Stag Logistics, which is owned and operated by the Mitchell family, also loyal and true members of the OSU Family. Butcher and his wife currently reside in Texas, but enjoy flying into Stillwater for Homecoming and other athletic events. The time he spent at Oklahoma State and the friends he made continue to guide and shape him.
