About

The Communications Sciences and Disorders Certificate is designed for students who are interested in applying to a graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology but have a Bachelor's degree in another area. After the completion of a Bachelor’s degree and the Communications Sciences and Disorders certificate, students will not only fulfill the levelling requirements needed for a majority of the Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology graduate programs, but also complete the basic science requirements that is mandated by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

The demand for American Speech-Language Pathology is expected to grow 18% by 2026. Upon the completion of a Bachelor’s degree and the Communications Sciences and Disorders certificate, students have many options including:
