The Department of Theatre knows about dramatic presentation. This image captures that by adding a stage, curtain, director’s chair, lighting and smoke to the Student Union staircase. The light painting on the staircase was originally envisioned as the beginnings of the image for the Department of Mathematics, but as the pieces were assembled, it became clear this was better used for the Department of Theatre.
