The Department of Aerospace Studies houses the Air Force ROTC Detachment 670. This image depicts the partnership between OSU and the Air Force. It features the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron, the “Thunderbirds,” flying in formation over two of the most iconic buildings on campus — the Student Union and the Edmon Low Library. OSU AFROTC members have spent countless hours in those two buildings as they worked toward their degrees and being commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants.
