31 Banquet Last Year On April 13th of 2024 the Boone Pickens School of Geology hosted the annual Geology Banquet at the ConocoPhillips Alumni Center on the campus of Oklahoma State University. The theme for the 2024 banquet was “Rock the Orange” with the students, faculty, and alumni displaying their pride by rocking their loudest and proudest orange! Master’s student Monica Hinson walked away as the winner of the “Rock the Orange” competition with her orangetastic outfit. A highlight of the banquet was the mineral silent auction that took place during the event. The auction was a great success thanks to the minerals generously donated by faculty, alumni, and friends of the Boone Pickens School of Geology. spring.2025
