CAS honors are separated into three categories: Distinguished Alumni, Rising Stars and Hall of Fame. The annual celebration of these CAS graduates is held in October on OSU-Stillwater’s campus. Distinguished Alumni stand out among their peers, bringing distinction to OSU through extraordinary achievements in their fields of discipline and distinguished records of service. These individuals are chosen annually by representatives from each CAS department. RISING STARS Recipients of the Rising Star award are alumni who have graduated with their CAS undergraduate or graduate degree within the past 10 years. In addition to already reaching major career milestones, Rising Stars have shown exemplary community service and a commitment to volunteerism. HALL OF FAME CAS Hall of Fame inductees are alumni who embody the qualities that make OSU an extraordinary place to learn and grow. Honorees are nominated by their departments for achieving exceptional success in their professional careers, displaying effective leadership, making outstanding contributions to their communities and showing great loyalty to their alma mater.
